| Big River is four musicians from Nanaimo, BC whose main purpose is to present the recordings of Johnny Cash in the style and with the sound of Johnny Cash himself. When our audiences come out to hear us perform we want them to have the thrill of an authentic "Man in Black" show. Not just the words and music, but the full experience.
Johnny Cash once said, "You know, performance is communicating. You've got to communicate. You've got a song you're singing from your gut; you want that audience to feel it in their gut." Big River continues to entertain with the same principles. Our music is your music and if you enjoy the music, we enjoy performing it for you. Come out and join us sometime. Together we can recreate the experience of Johnny Cash, the Man and the Music.

If you were to close your eyes while watching a performance of the tribute band
Big River, you'd swear Johnny Cash was up on stage. Even with your eyes open,
the spirit of the "Man in Black" is definitely in the room. This is a must see
performance for anyone who's a fan of country music's most provocative
entertainer.

The Johnny cash tribute that you boys perform has got to be one of the best in
the country. If you have your back to the stage you would think the man in black
was in the building.You could fool Stevie Wonder. Thank you for filling our room
